Gabby Adcock competes in badminton as a doubles specialist pairing with Chris Adcock in Mixed and Lauren Smith in Women's. Prior to the London Olympics she was paired with Robert Blair and Jenny Wallwork, though both pairs failed to qualify.
She paired up with her husband Chris Adcock who she married in 2013 and won the 2013 Hong Kong Super Series against the world No.1 and Olympic Champion, Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei, 21–12, 21–16.
They also won the 2014 Swiss Open Grand Prix against Chai Biao and Tang Jinhua 21–17, 21–13.
Winner of the Gold Medal, in the mixed doubles, at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, with Chris Adcock
